The WORLD WINDSURFING SLALOM event takes place every year in July/August at SOTOVENTO along its wide sandy beaches. A true spectacle to behold, where man pits his skills against that of nature at its best.
If windsurfing, body boarding or surfing is not your thing, but you love water, why not try a practice dive or even obtain a DIVING qualification as you view the beautiful silent underwater world featuring a variety of marine life which inhabits the warm waters of Fuerteventura. If you are more experienced, there are many areas around the coastline which will awaken your senses.
Take a trip on SUBCAT in the south of the island and enjoy the double benefit of sailing in a catamaran and diving to depths of up to 30m to watch the underwater dance performed by the many different species of fish.
In the north of the island, enjoy a wonderful day out onboard one of the many charter boats or sailing catamarans. Party and relax to the soothing breezes and lapping waves around the crystal clear waters and blue lagoons of the island of LOBOS
