It started in 1995, with the aim of equipping the island with a historical infrastructure, where it could show off the cultural nature of Fuerteventura, and at the same time, create a supply of culture and diverse leisure"

MUSEO DE LA PESCA TRADICIONAL (TRADITIONAL FISHING MUSEUM)
Traditional fishing methods using sustainable natural resources, still in use today. Housed in the lighthouse at El Cotillo.
MUSEO de la SAL (Salt Museum)
2 complementary tours – 1 inside, 1 outside, showing the cultural aspects and processing of salt and its applications.
Cueva del Llano (CAVE ON THE PLAIN)
About 1000 years old. 400 mtrs of caves formed by volcanic activity
Ecomuseo la alcogida (Ecomuseum of the area La Alcogida)
Eco-museum consisting of seven dwellings recreating traditional country life showing craft work, cattle and other farming activities
MOLINO DE ANTIGUA (Antigua WindMill)
Information about grinding and the making of traditional Gofio - toasted corn flour. Exhibition of paintings and archaeology. Garden area with indigenous plants.
LOS MOLINOS (The Windmills)
Located in a traditional house, with information about grinding and the making of traditional Gofio - toasted corn flour.
Museo del grano La Cilla (Grain Museum)
Visitors can discover the history of traditional farming and its link to climate, different types of grain and traditional farming methods.
Centro de Interpretacion Poblado de la Atalayita (Typical Farmining Community Life)
Archaelogical site & presentation of economic & cultural animal farming strategies of the ancient "Mahos", in the village of La Atalayita in the Pozo Negro Valley
MIRADOR DE MORRO VELOSA ( Morro Velosa Viewpoint)
Built in the geographical centre of Fuerteventura, this centre provides panoramic views from the top of Montaña Tegú (669m) Designed by Cesár Manrique
MUSEO ARQUEOLOGICO DE BETANCURIA (Archaeological Museum, Betancuria)
Situated in a restored, traditional house. Exhibition of archaeological pieces, showing the material culture of the original pre-hispanic "Maho" inhabitants of Fuerteventura.
CASA MUSEO UNAMUNO (Museum House of of Unamuno)
Miguel de Unamuno universalised the islands topography, flora and fauna. This house-museum contains personal photographs, writings, furniture etc.
CASA MUSEO DOCTOR MENA (Museum House fo Doctor Mena)
Known today as "The Alfaro's House" Traditional architecture and personal belongings of Dr. Tomas Mena y Mesa. He bequeathed money to build a hospital which took 60 years.
