JANDIA (Morro Jable) In the south of the island and some 80 km / 1 hour 15 min drive from the airport Villa Winter at Cofete (pictured) is a derelict German retreat from war torn Europe. Worth a visit - accessible only along a long unmade bumpy track. POPULARITY: Popular with people looking for "beach" holidays. All nationalities, but catering mainly towards German tourists. ACCOMMODATION: Good choice of different styles and prices of accommodation to suit all budgets ACTIVITIES: Some choice of different sports and leisure activities for all the family.
